Position Overview

Ideas Into Campaigns. Campaigns Into Growth.

The Growth Marketing Associate is responsible for building and executing the founder growth engine behind Oyindamola Deborah while supporting the marketing execution of Your Japa Buddy and future portfolio brands. This role exists because execution—not ideas—is currently the company’s greatest marketing bottleneck. You will transform ideas into campaigns, campaigns into visibility, visibility into opportunities, and opportunities into long-term business growth.
You will work directly with Oyindamola Deborah to increase brand awareness, authority, community growth, speaking engagements, podcast appearances, media features, strategic partnerships, newsletter growth, product launches, and customer acquisition. You will also support marketing execution across Your Japa Buddy by coordinating launches, managing content distribution, maintaining marketing systems, and ensuring campaigns are executed consistently and professionally.
This is not a traditional social media role.
You'll divide your time between two closely connected responsibilities:
  • Growing the visibility, authority, and opportunities of the founder through speaking engagements, podcasts, strategic partnerships, media, newsletters, books, and content distribution.
  • Supporting the marketing execution of Your Japa Buddy by coordinating campaigns, product launches, content distribution, customer acquisition initiatives, and marketing operations.
It is a builder role for someone who enjoys creating systems, executing marketing campaigns, writing persuasive copy, building opportunities, and turning strategy into measurable results. We are looking for someone who believes marketing is about influencing behavior, solving customer problems, and generating measurable business growth—not simply creating attractive content.
Your initial focus will be on building the founder growth engine while supporting the marketing execution of Your Japa Buddy. As additional brands, products, and marketing team members are introduced, responsibilities will expand to include broader campaign coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic marketing initiatives.

What You'll Own

Oyindamola’s Media (60%)
Build the visibility, authority, and influence of Oyindamola Deborah across Finance, Business, and Personal Development.
  • Speaking pipeline: Research conferences, universities, corporate events, TEDx events, professional associations, and industry events. Pitch the founder as a speaker, coordinate applications, manage logistics, and confirm bookings.
  • Awards & recognition: Identify relevant entrepreneurship, leadership, education, finance, and marketing awards. Prepare submissions, coordinate supporting materials, and maintain a database of deadlines, eligibility, and submission history.
  • Podcasts & media: Research relevant podcasts, YouTube channels, newsletters, and media outlets. Coordinate outreach, schedule interviews, prepare briefing notes, and ensure appearances are repurposed into additional content.
  • Strategic partnerships: Research potential collaborators, prepare outreach, coordinate partnership discussions, and maintain a partnership pipeline.
  • Content distribution: Schedule and publish founder content across approved platforms. Repurpose long-form content into newsletters, articles, social media posts, email campaigns, and other marketing assets.
  • Community growth: Support the growth and engagement of newsletters, book clubs, finance communities, and future learning communities.
  • Founder brand assets: Maintain speaker biographies, media kits, presentation topics, headshots, brand messaging, testimonials, and content libraries.
  • Opportunity tracker: Maintain a live dashboard of speaking engagements, podcasts, awards, PR opportunities, partnerships, guest articles, and interviews.
Your Japa Buddy Marketing Execution (40%)
Support the execution of Your Japa Buddy’s marketing strategy by coordinating campaigns, launches, and marketing operations.
  • Campaign launch operations: Coordinate marketing campaigns, launch checklists, asset management, timelines, approvals, and post-launch reviews to ensure nothing launches incomplete.
  • Content distribution: Repurpose and distribute content across newsletters, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, email, and other approved channels.
  • Email marketing: Coordinate newsletters, launch emails, nurture sequences, promotional campaigns, and performance tracking.
  • Marketing operations: Maintain marketing dashboards, campaign trackers, SOPs, documentation, and project management systems.
  • Editorial calendar: Maintain content calendars, campaign schedules, launch timelines, promotional activities, and publishing deadlines.
  • Marketing assets: Organize creative briefs, copy libraries, brand assets, templates, swipe files, landing pages, and campaign documentation.
  • Marketing analytics: Track campaign performance, prepare weekly marketing reports, and recommend improvements based on data.
  • Customer & market research: Research customer behaviour, competitors, market trends, and marketing opportunities to improve campaigns and positioning.

  • Maintain a minimum of 30 qualified opportunities across speaking engagements, podcasts, awards, partnerships, and media opportunities.
  • Secure at least 3–5 qualified speaking or podcast opportunities every quarter.

  • Publish content according to the agreed content calendar.
  • Maintain consistent newsletter publishing schedule.
  • Increase founder audience growth across key platforms.

  • Launch and manage marketing campaigns with minimal supervision.
  • Build systems for podcast outreach, speaking engagements, and strategic partnerships.
  • Improve marketing organization and documentation.
  • Submit weekly marketing reports and performance insights.
  • Identify marketing gaps and recommend improvements.
First 90 Days
  • Consistently execute marketing campaigns without constant supervision.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of speaking, podcast, PR, and partnership opportunities.
  • Improve founder visibility through consistent content distribution.

  • Operate as the founder's trusted marketing execution partner.
  • Reduce the founder's day-to-day marketing workload by at least 50%.
